All our courses are available in one-to-one or duo* format
To help you learn French in the best conditions, your host family in Montpellier offers you different packages adapted to your objectives and your level. By learning French in France, you will master good pronunciation, essential to be able to communicate, and you will learn typical French expressions. In each course program, you will work on written comprehension and expression, oral comprehension and expression, with particular emphasis on the ability to conduct a conversation in French. Your progress will be measured throughout your stay and a certificate of completion in the course and level will be given to you by your teacher on the day of your departure. This level will be measured according to the CEFR(Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
* Two people who book their stay together and who are approximately at the same level.
Introduction to French and French culture:
Intended for people who do not speak French or who speak very little, this program is ideal for a first contact with the French language, with adapted support and pedagogy. Each day is composed of 1 hour of classes (or 1h30, depending on the package chosen) and 2 hours (or 2h30) of learning application activities: request tourism information, order a meal in a restaurant, buy food at the market, ordering bus ticket, understand and perform a French cooking recipe, etc.
General French:
this program allows people who already have some knowledge of French or good practice to develop or perfect their mastery of the language. It covers levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.
French, culture, arts and literature:
This program allows you to perfect your French on the basis of the French artistic and literary heritage. All language skills you want to perfect are worked from the angle of the arts (architecture, cinema, painting, fashion, etc.) and literature. It is available to levels B1 to C2.
French, intensive preparation for DELF and DALF certification:
a course dedicated to people wishing to validate their French skills with the official DELF certifications (Diplôme d'études en langue française), which assesses levels A1 to B2, and DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française), which assesses levels C1 and C2.
